Sick, sick, sick...why the 3 of us during this week?

Dear Journal,

This week, I found out about some people who are sick. Including:

  • Emma - Ms. Keilgas' (assistant teacher in fifth grade) daughter
  • Me - I have a cough, runny nose, and a 102 degree fever
  • And my dads brother, Beruz - he has had cancer and lung problems for about 1 and 1/2 years maybe and now he got worse by getting pneumonia (prononced: nimonia)

Ms. Keilgas is friends with my mom. They were instant messaging on Facebook and Ms. Keilgas said Emma, her 2nd grade daughter, is sick with a fever and is staying home from school. At about the same time, I was suffering from a fever/cough kinda thing too. And a few hours before these happend, my dad was talking on the phone with my cousin, Pantea (pronounced Pantie), about my uncle, Beruz. He is suffering from a bad case of lung cancer and a bunch of other lung problems. I was fiddling with my moms bracelet and overheard him talking about pneumonia and hospitals and bad health things. As I was strolling through the hallway, I found my mom and told her about what I heard. She was talking to my dad later and told me that what I said was true. About 2 or 3 hours later my dad was purchasing a ticket to LA for Thursday afternoon. I suggested making a big card for my dad to bring with him for Beruz. Jacob and my mom said that would be nice.

I know it is very, very sad and I would love to stay and chat about sick people from this week, but my brother got off the bus right behind someone from my class named Jacob Sand and he brought home my homework (as you must have figured, he is in my 5th grade class, 5KC) from the past few days. I must be off to the table on the other side of the tiny room to do my homework but I wish everyone a happy (which I'm missarable) and healthy (which I'm the opposite of) rest of the week!

Sincerely,
